"Reflecting" is a unique landscape. It is a painterly piece composed with confident brush strokes and vibrant complementary colors. The bright red underpainting contrasts with the various hues of green in this beautiful landscape. The subject is a moment caught with my paintbrushes. It is a silent moment rowing quietly down a stream. The water is very still. It just rained and you can almost smell it. It is so quiet and peaceful here - a wonderful moment alone to reflect upon the wonders of life.
