It's a hot day but still a lovely time for a walk. We really should have taken the short route, but it's such a lovely day that we ended up taking a long one. Was this such a good idea? There is a big tree in the distance. It will feel really nice to sit under that shade for a while. Let's walk across the hot white sand to get there. I'm wearing sandals - I know my feet will sink into that burning sand and sand will get stuck between my toes, but it will feel so much cooler underneath that shade. Time to unpack the picnic basket!
